All pictures are taken a long time ago, back in 2000 when I did a semester in Adelaide, Australia during nursing school.
Ayers Rock or Uluru, as the native call it, is an amazing big red rock in extremely flat surroundings in the middle of Australia. We flew to Alice Springs and did a 3 day trip to the area.
Depending on what time of the day you visit Uluru, the rock´s red color is changing. It is usually more red in the early morning and late afternoon, which is why most people visit the rock two times during the day when you go on an prearranged trip.
My travel companions, from left me, Anny, Line and Beate.
This is Kata Juta, another rock formation not too far away from Uluru. The two are the only BIG rocks here.
