Not hip to be square?

In New York and Seattle, the new architecture is far from old fashioned. It is fascinating to see what the city planners and architects of today come up with and how it plays with the nearby surroundings.  These two pics are photographed from near the end of the High Line in New York (going uptown).

This is The EMP museum (Experience Music Project) in Seattle. It was founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, and opened its doors in 2000.

And the Seattle Public Library´s Central Library in Seattle. 11 story high (56 metres). The glass and steel building was opened to the public in May 2004.
