Climbing Wind River Peak

This summer, like most of my last six summers, I climbed a mountain. This year it was Wind River Peak which is the highest point in the southern end of the Wind River Range. The Wind River Range is located in the U.S state of Wyoming. It is 13,192 feet or as we say 4021 m high.

The goal is the white top in the middle. We started climbing around 7.30 in the morning. We had walked for almost 6 hours the day before and from where we put up our tent we saw a female moose. We saw a big male moose during our walk as well.

One happy climber who made it to the top in one piece.. 4021 meters here I come!

The view looking down.
