Grand Teton National park

Grand Teton National Park is just south of Yellowstone. If you enter Yellowstone from the south you will drive through Grand Teton and the entrance ticket includes both parks.

Grand Teton National Park was established to protect the area´s spectacular scenic values, as characterized by the geological features of the Teton Range and Jackson Hole, and the native plant and animal life.

Grand Teton National park has many mountains and the highest is called Grand Teton (13,770f/4198m). There are 12 peaks over 12,000 ft (3658 m) in elevation.

We did a 4-5 hours hike up to a couple of ice lakes. This is the view from the hike as we kept going up.

And here I am in front of the ice lake.

The second ice lake.
