Yellowstone National park, part II

A (female) pronghorn. They are the fastest mammals in North America, capable of running at speeds in excess of 55 mph. They also have tremendous vision, equal to that of a powerful telescope.

Yellowstone National Park is the only place in the lower 48 states to have a continuously free-ranging bison population since prehistoric time.

There are over 4000 bison residing in Yellowstone and are the #1 cause of summer jams in the park (as we are witness to here).

Bison can exceed over 2000 lbs and and cause more human injuries than any other wildlife combined in Yellowstone Park.
